January 21st, 2007 at 19:28The Governor of California has just recently proposed a state budget that includes $5 million over three years to provide counsel to otherwise self-represented litigants in civil cases. Although nobody seems to have details yet about how the program would work, it’s probably some form of judicare.

This sounds very interesting. Over the holidays, I launched a nonprofit advocacy group called H.E.L.P.S. (Honesty & Equality for Litigants Pro Se) and I have a plan for assisting pro se litigants through the system WITHOUT dependency on attorneys. I am interested in reviewing other plans out there to see where mine may fall short or is an improvement. Any details anyone can provide on “Schwarzenegger’s plan” would be welcomed!

Just today, while navigating my weary soul through the internet, I came across news of your, Hon. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, pilot program for help to those like me: a pro se ligitant, homeless due to the plight for justice deserving “not denied” involving my “bigger than life” civil case. Also I’ve only been writing to you, the Hon. CA Governor for “well over a five year timeperiod” and well before any litigation for your attention and the possible public interest areas. Lastly still I live in “fear” for my life, of having a heartattack, not deserving and with suspicious stalking (mostly night time), of those I believe trying to frighten me away from the huge civil (discrimination, etc.), case. There’s also a new filing and how can I find help with the new pilot program. Please can someone help me or take a look at my evidentiary tools? Then perhaps I can get my life back for success as a minority in the international trade arena to help others and volunteer more with kids and my church. God speed.

I need help with the how to’s of the new pro se litigant funding and project approved by the Hon. CA Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger–if existing now, 2008.
Also I will continue my self help tenaciously and try navigating the internet for more about the above program to help pro se’s like me in critical need. Let us pray.
